Are you tired of wondering when are things going to get better—or if they ever will get better?

Have you caught yourself thinking, “It’s been so long since I felt like me”?

  • You feel broken—like something is wrong with you. You feel like you’re the problem, but you don’t know how to fix it.

  • You feel like a mess inside. You can’t trust your instincts, your emotions are too big, you have no self-confidence, and you wear a mask all the time to keep anyone from seeing that you’re struggling.

  • You feel like a burden. You’re haunted by the thought that you don’t make anyone proud, that you’re not special to anyone, that no one will ever love you the way you need.

  • You feel like you don’t know how to have healthy relationships. What seems so easy for everyone else just keeps going wrong for you, and you don’t understand why.

  • You’re arguing with your partner about the same things over and over, but you never reach a resolution. You’ve lost connection. Hurt has become the norm.

You’re ready for something different:

To let go of the shame.

To silence the inner critic shouting in your head day and night.

You’ve read the self-help books, listened to the podcasts—maybe even tried therapy before. And yet nothing has led to the growth and change you’re longing for in your life and relationships.

You’ve come to the right place.

Amanda Buduris, a therapist providing EMDR and Brainspotting therapy in Oregon and Washington

Hi, I’m Amanda, and I can help.

I pick up where other therapists leave off.

Clients often come to me highly aware of how and why they get stuck—but not how to get un-stuck. They may have been searching for a better life for a while, and they may have tried a lot of different things, but nothing has ever led to long-term change.

Sound familiar?

I’m the kind of therapist who’s not afraid of uncomfortable conversations. We’ll talk about trauma, sex, money, power and privilege, and more. I’ll make space for humor—the kind where we both know that something isn’t actually funny, but the only way we can stick it out through the pain of transformation is with laughter. If you work with me, I’ll help you explore past life events and relationships, and unpack how they might be getting in the way of living the life you want. I work with individuals and couples who are motivated to do deep work, and who are open to forms of therapy that aren’t traditional “talk therapy.”

I can promise you, I’ll be my authentic self in every session. All you need to do is to bring your authentic self, as well. And with a relationship of trust and security, I’ll walk with you toward the change you’ve been waiting for.

If I had to guess, I’d say you want…

  • A deep feeling of self-worth, balancing self-awareness and accountability with the knowledge that you’re worthy of love even when you make mistakes.

  • Trust that your instincts can guide you through difficulties, an ability to manage your emotions, and most of all, enough confidence to take the mask off and be real.

  • Security in your relationships, and a sense that you can rest and feel safe in the presence of people who have your back, love you unconditionally, and are cheering for your progress.

  • Relief that relationships feel easy, satisfying, and even fun again, as you make your own choices about boundaries and choose to be around people who value your authentic self.

  • Renewed enjoyment in your partner, based on a strong foundation of emotional connection, true respect, and open communication.

What if you could breathe again? What if life felt good—like, really good?

Specializing in…

  • Three friends laughing and enjoying outdoor time near a large pine tree, dressed in casual jackets and jeans, with a misty mountain background.

    Complex & Relational Trauma

You don’t even know if you’d call it “trauma”—so many others have been hit harder by life. But when you think back on it, most of your life has been hard; most of your relationships have left you feeling hurt; some moments have even felt unbearable. With trauma therapy, you can discover a life that’s focused in the present, not consumed by the past.

  • A smiling man and woman facing each other outdoors with a sunny, natural landscape in the background.

    Couples & Attachment

What started out as a fun, uncomplicated, connected relationship is now fraught with confusion, conflict, and emotional distance. You feel stuck in repetitive patterns of hurt, and you’re anxious about whether or not things can get better. You know there has to be some way to get back to what you once had. Couples therapy can help you find ways to build more connection and trust in your relationship.

  • Two women sitting outdoors on grass, smiling and talking, with trees in the background.

    Self-Esteem & Relationships

You’ve always been a high achiever, and struggled with never feeling “good enough.” Your life looks busy and successful on the outside, but it’s hauntingly empty inside. “I’m not doing enough” has become “I’m not enough.” With therapy for self-esteem, you can quiet the voice that tells you to do “more” and “better,” and increase your confidence and self-compassion.

Therapy Approaches

Online Therapy

You’re a busy person.

Online therapy is the perfect fit for your needs for flexibility and convenience.

Get accessible, inclusive, personalized therapy from the comfort of your home, dorm, parked car, or any other confidential space—wherever you are in Washington or Oregon. As long as you have a stable internet and phone connection, and are in Washington or Oregon at the time of each session, let’s talk!

I’m well-versed in adapting in-person therapy approaches to an online format and taking extra precautions with confidentiality and security concerns. And I know that, done well, online therapy works just as well as, and sometimes even better than, in-person therapy.
